Junior Retail Operations Specialist

You will be a key contact person for our B2B customers. You will be responsible for the sales and distribution process, from order acceptance to final delivery. You will be responsible for onboarding new retailers. You will be responsible for invoicing & refunding topics. You will assist and monitor progress of retail system integration setups. You will collaborate with UK operation managers on warehousing & supplier topics. You will help the quarterly and yearly forecasting. You will be responsible for monitoring and analysing relevant KPIs. You will optimize internal processes towards more efficiency and automatization. You will support the team in implementing a coherent and ambitious Retail Strategy in the UK. You will be dealing and negotiating with couriers, revising contracts and agreeing on dispatch plans and relevant KPI's.

What you'll do

Who we're looking for

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject.
  • You have demonstrated that you are a self-starter and resourceful in reaching ambitious targets.
  • You are analytically strong and can draw meaningful insights when looking at data.
  • You are hypothesis-driven; you are able to articulate logical hypothesis in the absence of data.
  • You are able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • You can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • You work in a well-organized and structured manner with attention to detail.
  • You have advanced MS Office skills (especially with Excel and Powerpoint); and are familiar with pivot tables/charts and MS Query.
  • You have very good English skills and are a communicative team player.
  • General Experience with API protocols (especially API connections or API clients like Postman) and with system integrations to a file and configuration level is preferred.
  • Basic skills in Python is a plus.
  • Experience in retail, strategy or business development is a plus.
  • Experience in a start-up and working knowledge of the retail markets is a plus.
